Welcome to one of the best seafood restaurants in Slovenia. You will start off with a selection of seafood snacks, pairing that with some equisite Slovenian wine. A dream combination, right? And that’s not all. Mateja, our sommelier master, will tell you some interesting facts about the food that you will be tasting and carefully selected wines from Slovenian wine regions, ranked among the world’s very best.

Last but not least, you’ll become a true chocolate expert. A selection of locally made pralines will lead you through the bean-to-bar journey, combining it with carefuly selected local spirits.

Step through our door into the seafood restaurant, through which you walk to magical garden full of old trees. With us, the hustle and bustle is instantly forgotten. In the restaurant, you will always be greeted by friendly staff under the watchful eye of Mateja, who is writing her culinary story with the help of her family and an excellent team. Maks from Molinet house of chocolate

The story of Molinet chocolate atelier began in 1999 in a family home, where his father Uroš initially specialized in crafting pralines and chocolate bars. In our workshop, even iconic Elan skis received a chocolate coating, and we also created a genuine chocolate roulette. With a passion for chocolate, the younger generation took over the family business, which still handcrafts everything according to carefully selected family recipes.

Wondering what brought Mateja & Maks together?

Maks started off his culinary career very young, at the age of 16. He was only learning from the best chefs in our area, including Mateja’s restaurant. They’ve been working together for 5 years, just before the young guy decided to take over his father’s business. The team of the Tabor restaurant was the driving force behind Maks in his beginnings in the chocolate atelier and his first regular customer of pralines. Maks, Mateja and her team collaborate on various projects, combining new culinary flavors and creating experiences for guests from all over the world. They are all excited to meet you too!
